Our "Portraits of Los Angeles" tours are designed to document the social diversity of Los Angeles. This photo album was made from photographs taken one afternoon in April at the corner of Wilshire and La Cienega Boulevards. Wilshire Blvd. is the most important commercial street in Los Angeles. La Cienega Blvd. is the dividing line between Los Angeles and Beverly Hills. Our methodology for selecting the participants was simple - we asked everyone who passed by if we could take their picture. We plan to take photos at other corners of Los Angeles in the near future. Stay tuned for updates.
